Whenever I do a sync Tinysheet will reset all the column widths on the Palm copy of my excel documents. The PC copy is fine and doesn't change.
Also, Tinysheet doesn't want to remember cell formatting either in the Palm copies either.
Wazzup with that? It's extremely annoying.
Thanks

One clarification is needed. This only happens if I do any edits on the synched file on the PC in Excel. It seems that if Tinysheet 4.02 only sends updates to the PC resident file, and not visa-versa then the formatting remains. If I do any edits what so ever on the PC side then sync it with Tinysheet's copy on the PDA then all the column width and column/row formatting gets trashed, even if the edits on the PC side don't include any formatting changes.
Otherwise the information tranfers both ways reliably. Unfortunately I need to work with these files both at my desktop and remotely. Is there some way I can keep the cell and column width formatting when I synch with updates coming from the PC as well as from the PDA?
Thanks

I'm using Excel XP, and can synchronize column widths and row heights between PC and Palm in both directions without any problems. Which version of Excel you are using?

Excel 97 SR-1
Thanks for the info. I definitely cannot sync in both directions and retain cell hieth and width values. I suppose I could try upgrading to SR-2 again but I had lots of problems with that service pack.

I have a similar problem. In version 3.x, I could hide columns on the PC and they would be that way on the Visor through syncs. With version 4.x, it unhides my columns and does not keep any column width info no matter which way I sync.
I use Office 2000 Pro and still have this issue.
