I still find the initial loading of icons very slow. After starting AGS V2.1 I about a minute to load all items when using the Icon pack (OS1000HRIconSetFull.sis). Without the icons installed it is much faster. I have about 65 todo's and not to much Meeting or other items. So I don't the amount of data should be the problem. AGS and the icons are installed on the internal disk.
