Hi,
I am using a Tungsten C with Agendus for Palm Professional and a Sony Ericsson P910i Smartphone with Agendus for Symbian OS. So far, I have been unable to synch Agendus on both devices. There is no option to import any kind of calendar file into the Symbian OS Agendus. Any idea how to do it?

I have exactly the same problem (Tungsten C+Motorola A1000) and really would like to know the answer. In particular, Agendus for Palm is so superior to Agendus for Outlook that I would use the former even if I hadn't a palm, but the problem is that the A1000 can only sync with Outlook :(
(BTW, Agendus for Symbian still doesn't work at all with the A1000, despite the claims on the website. See the other thread in bug report forum)

On my desktop, I am using Agendus for windows professional, which is an excellent program for synchronising the Palm. BUT: It doesn't allow for any data export at all. It would be a major achievement for the iambic people to find a format into which the different calendar and contact formats could be turned into, so that they would be exchangable to one another.

Are you sure about that? I am using Agendus for Windows since version 2.x and it always had the capability to export contacts in vcf format and calendar entries in vCal format. The only inconvenience is that you have to select the object to export beforehand and that's not very simple to do if you need to export several calendar entries. An "Export all..." command would be a very useful addition indeed.
Anyway, it is little useful to sync with Outlook, as the "import" feature of Outlook is sooo dumb silly... you can only select one .vcf file at a time and only the first contact in the file is imported. If you use drag&drop it's even worse, as Outlook opens a window for each .vcf file dropped. Just try to drop one hundred+ contacts as I did last time and see what happens to you computer...

That's right, but if you want to really synchronize, you would have to export *all* the entries, and that is impossible. It seems to be a difficult task, otherwise iambic would have coume up with a solution already. Anyway, it is a PIA to have to keep Agendus up to date on the Palm and the smartphone manually...

Maybe there is something I don't understand in this thread: I do have Agendus on both my SE P900 (Symbian) and my Sony Clie UX50 (palmOS) and they synchronize with Lotus Notes with no problems.
I guess syncing with Outlook would work in a similar way, unless you want to sync the P900 with the PalmOS device without involving a pc in the process.

I think that answers my question: The link between the symbian OS and the PalmOS is Lotus Notes. I haven't installed it on my PC, but will do so now. The only problem that remains is how to make the PC recognize the P910i - but that is a thread in another forum. Many thanks for the contribution!

Agendus for Windows comes in two different "flavors": the Palm Desktop Edition (PDE) which is a standalone product and the Outlook Edition (OE) which integrates with Outlook. The PDE is far superior to the OE and is the natural choice for palm-only users. However, the software shipped with my A1000 synchronizes only with Outlook. So I could use Outlook/OE to synchronize both my palm and my phone, but I would lose the extra features that PDE offers. I would not want to follow that path unless necessary.

Hi,
Synching both to Outlook is the only way I am aware of. I've not heard of any product that enables synchronizing a Symbian device to Palm Desktop.
