I have enjoyed Easynotes so far. One major problem I have run into is that I cannot get the audible alarms to sound on my Treo 650. The notification comes up, but the alarm does not sound.

Maybe a insulting question, but do you have the Treo set to silent?

Not an insulting question, that is the first thing I checked. Actually it was something almost as obvious, I had the system sound off because I find all the clicks and beeps annoying.
:sour: Iambic alarms are very frustrating. The Easynotes alarms require the system sounds to be on and the Agendus alarms slow a Treo down beyond their worth.
With the growing popularity of the Treo, I would hope that this would be a high priority issue.

I don't have a Treo, so I don't know if this will work, but on my T3 I have KeyClickHack (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=43160) installed. Of course, it requires a Hack Manager (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=45126&siteid=1).
Hacks may not work on Treos!

Hi,
I have a Treo 650, and my system sounds volume set to "Off" because I also dislike the clicks (etc). I've had multiple alarms fire tonight during testing, and they are all audible.
So I think this problem is something other than your system sound level. Maybe you should download the latest EasyNotes version and give it a go?
Thanks,
Matt
PS Keep an eye out for Agendus 9.05. Alarms are a focus in that release..

Any chance a vibrating alert option will be available?

Isn't that device dependent, and already available on most devices? i.e. something you can choose in the system settings? Or are you trying to get at something else?
Thanks,
Matt

Yes the Treo does have a vibrate function but it is limited to the phone rings and calandar events. Plus if Agendus is set to handle alarms, the vibrate is negated. Vibrate reminders are great since the are many instances when either the ringer must be turned off or I am unable to hear the audible alarm.
Ultimately what I am looking for, and hopefully I am not the only one, is that when any alarm rings, calendar or task, the vibrate notification also functions.
On another note, I have found that if you can keep the internal memory of the Treo above 50% having Agendus handle alarms does not create the delay many people refer to.

I rely on vibrate alarms all the time with my Treo 650, and not just for Calendar. AGP (with it controlling alarms) delivers this for me right now - I just retested then with a Task alarm, and vibrate worked fine. Sounds like you have an AGP issue, that should really be discussed in another forum. I can move these posts for you if you like.
Thanks,
Matt
