In general I like the graphic design and usability of your website. And I also seem to like your products. But in trying to download the demo versions of some of your products I encounted some bugs in your website and broken links. So I'd like to report them:

- Clicking on the "Free Download" icon for AbaBall Greyscale on page http://www.iambic.com/english/products.html gives a "404 Not Found" (broken link).

- If I manually enter the URL http://my.iambic.com/RequestDemo.asp?demoprod=Ababall%20Grayscale then I seem to get the right page to download AbaBall Grayscale but the page gives an error after its filled out.

- Clicking on the "Free Download" icon for AbaBall Color gives a broken link as well.

- On your main web page (http://www.iambic.com/english/index_ns.html) you refer to FastWrite as "The Fastest and Most Reliable Spreadsheet for Palm OS" but FastWriter is not a spreadsheet.

- Clicking on the "News" graphic on http://www.iambic.com/english/index_ns.html takes you to the news section but clicking on the matching "Products" graphic on this same page does nothing.

- In your support section there is no email address given for an experienced software engineer (such as myself) to send you bugs reports. As an expert software engineer I don't need tech support and I really didn't want to go through all the hastle of creating an Iambic account just so I could post this message to this forum but I was willing to dash off a quick email to your webmaster listing the bugs and problems I found with your website. So it would be desirable to have an email address right on your support page for reporting bugs (which you could explain will not get you any tech support and should only be used to send bug reports to Iambic).

If you'd like to reward me for talking a half an hour out of my quite expensive time to send you these bug reports, :-), you can send me a free registration code for TinySheet. :-)

Hi,

please find here some answers

Clicking on the "Free Download" icon for AbaBall Greyscale on page http://www.iambic.com/english/products.html gives a "404 Not Found" (broken link).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I've notified our Web Dept to take care of that broken link. To download Ababall please refer to the following:http://www.iambic.com/english/palmos/ababall/downloadfile.html

If I manually enter the URL http://my.iambic.com/RequestDemo.asp?demoprod=Ababall%20Grayscale[/url] then I seem to get the right page to download AbaBall Grayscale but the page gives an error after its filled out

Ababall does not need a Demo code to be used in trial mode. That is why the above page gives you an error.

On your main web page (http://www.iambic.com/english/index_ns.html) you refer to FastWrite as "The Fastest and Most Reliable Spreadsheet for Palm OS" but FastWriter is not a spreadsheet.

The text you reported is placed next to "TinySheet" in the IE version of the page, the netscape version is outdated and contains the wrong picture

Clicking on the "News" graphic on http://www.iambic.com/english/index_ns.html takes you to the news section but clicking on the matching "Products" graphic on this same page does nothing.

I agree, we'll probably enable some hyperlink also for the other graphics.

In your support section there is no email address given for an experienced software engineer (such as myself) to send you bugs reports.

We are in the process of moving our support policy from email based to web based, that is the reason why we are progressively removing references to our Support Dept. email address.

As an expert software engineer I don't need tech support

In this case you don't need the tech support dept email address either :D

I was willing to dash off a quick email to your webmaster listing the bugs and problems I found with your website.

There are many different ways to came in contact with iambic, this page http://www.iambic.com/english/comp_contact.html reports them all.

For bugs related to http://my.iambic.com you may refer to my email address.
