Hello I have been a loyal Iambic customer for over 5 years. After my recent transaction with Iambic, i am likely to never purchase from the company again.

I purchased Sales warrior last week. After registering it i started to use it. I love the interface. I went to create an opportunity. For acnt. i started to type somenes name that is in my address book, Brian Murphy. His name never auto populated like the instructions say it should. So i click on the diamond on the left to create a link to his name in sales warrior. His name never shows up though. Only names with a first initial of A. show up. I can only scroll through 2 pages and it only shows names with first initial A.

I ahve waited over a week and still no one from Iambic support hase tried to contact me. I even left my cell phone number as well as alternate email addresses. But no one contacted me. If someone could please help i would appreciate it. I dont want to have to return this through Handango.

Same here, it seems about 80% of my contacts don't show in Sales Warrior. I'm trialing it to see how it works, I have a small business but it'd be nice to keep track of this stuff in something other than a spreadsheet I've been using.

Unfortunately I'm finding that Sales Warrior is missing some stuff like notes, details, information, everything is very cut and dry. The closest you can come to making a note on a particular client is one of two custom checkboxes.

Nothing yet? Come on, this is an expensive package, there has to be some kind of support for it. Some reason why it's not populating the contact list properly.

i removed sales warriror then did a soft reset and reinstalled the product and now it works. I agree with you. this has all the makings of a good sales program it is just not layed out correctly. I would love for this program to be integrated with Agendus. I am downloading the trial version of act for palm. i dont want to have to give up Agendus but if this program combines the calendar, contact manager and oppertunity mangement i think i may be forced to switch,

I copied Sales Warrior and its two databases to my SD card for backup, then exited ZLauncher and removed the program from the Palm launcher, soft reset, re-installed just the Sales Warrior PRC, ran it, still only see about 20 of my contacts..

Did you do anything different?

As a SW user from day one, upgrades come slowly, and this forum thread will get little attention. Complaining will get you nothing. That said, SW has be my favorite iambic program and I haven't reported a bug since the 5.0 compatiblity version was released. Reading the manual helps alot in loading and managing this product. We have been asking iambic to interface SW with Agendus for a long time. Occasionaly, a sale opportunity appears in the contact history in Agendus, but that hasn't since V10.

Act! for Palm V 1.0 is not a pretty program and it's not compatible with ACT 2005 or ACT 2006. A new version is due out in December. I am going to be a beta tester for the new version, beta is due out mid-November. I'm Tungsten C user, and ACT for Palm v1.0 works fine, but it doesn't replace the combo package of Agendus, SW, and Tiny Sheets.

I don't really care about the sales showing up in Agendus itself, however it would be nice if my contacts list showed up in Sales Warrior... *some* of them do, perhaps 20 or so.. I haven't counted. And it's not the first 20, etc. I suspect it might be something in particular about the other contacts, such as a note throwing off SW or something, but considering I have about 150 contacts and only 20 are showing up, I think more along the lines of SW is doing something dumb.

It'd really be nice if it were fixed.. Is there anywhere else to get support? Does Agendus just resell it, or do they 'maintain' it?

When starting a new account in SW, you need to enter of few of letters for the account that you want from the address book (like ABC Co), it should auto fill or come close. If it's not the right contact, touch the down arrow to the left and SW will show about 20 contacts names that are in the area of your entered letters, scroll down until you find the contact and select. It should auto fill in the Acnt section. This has always worked,

Actually, I would like to start from an Agendus Contact and directly open the screen in SW. We have always been able to set up an task, meeting, or call directly from SW to Agendus which is a great feature. Of course most of SW users would like to see an improved catalog and a desktop version.

Hope this helps!

If it worked like that I'd not have posted it in the first place :P But sadly, it is not.. No matter what I have in the Account line, it shows the same 20 contacts. I can leave it blank, or put in Smith (having four Smith's) and the same contacts show. I can put John (having mulitple John's) and the same contacts show.. It never fills in anything, even on the contacts it DOES show.

I've tried reinstalling like someone suggested, same contacts show..

Dunno what I could be missing.

Could it be in the Palm address book (not Agendus), have you selected Contact or Companies, try changing the option to see if that corrects the problem. Just a thought.

It is set to List By Last Name, First Name.

And behold, changing it did fix it. This doesn't make any sense to me, but oh well, it works. I'll have to look through the docs at work today to see if I missed this in there.

Thanks for your help! Now, any suggestions for negative numbers? If you haven't ever, try it.. Garbage shows up.

I show a loss on investment of tools for my work, so I know overall where my profit stands, in case you're wondering about me seeing negatives.
