Hi All,
we are pleased to announce the new major version of Agendus for Windows: 4.0
Everyone interested in trying this latest Agendus is welcome to download it from the appropriate thread, and share with us his/her impressions, and bug reports.
Bug reports are extremely welcome in this phase, since they will allow us to make the application really strong and stable before releasing it. As usual, everyone who proves help to us in addressing issues during the beta program will be rewarded by a free copy of version 4, Outlook or PalmDesktop Edition.
Before posting bugs make sure to read the beta program guidelines (http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8368).
In the threads immediately following this one you'll find screenshots, feature and fixes list, upgrade policy, and application download.
Before moving on to the next threads please read the FAQs below, containing important information.
Q. When will there be a localized version in my language?
A. Localized versions are available within the same installer. You might find some portion of text in English - we are in the process of completing all localizations.
Q. Will there be more features added to Agendus 4 during or after the beta?
A. At this point in time this is unlikely, nevertheless possible.
Q. Where do I get the Agendus for Windows v4.0 file?
A. Please refer to the appropriate thread in this forum titled "download".
Q. Where do I get the Agendus for Windows V4 manual?
A. We are working on updating the current manual to embed the new features added in 4. It will be available upon the application's release or soon after.
Q. I am a novice user, should I install the beta?
A. No. The beta is for proficient Windows and Agendus users who are interested in helping make Agendus better by providing clear, concise and accurate feedback about any problems they encounter with Agendus.
Q. Is the beta stable, could I lose my data?
A. Every beta download undergoes internal testing, and therefore is deemed stable enough by our QA Department. Nevertheless, the very fact that is a beta implies possible unforeseen instabilities, which might lead to loss of data.
Q. What can I do to make the beta program better and have the best version of Agendus available soon?
A. Post clear, concise, and accurate reports of problems you have encountered ONLY after looking over the forums to make sure you aren’t re-reporting a problem others have already reported. If someone already reported the problem you found and it has been acknowledged then you don’t need to report it again.
Q. When will the next build of the beta be available?
A. When there are sufficient issues fixed that would make it worthwhile to post another build

A. As soon as it's ready.
