Custom Contact Linking Relationship

AGW PDE 4.0 beta build 1376

On my Palm I have customized the list of relationships for contact linking. I have added 'Son' and 'Daughter' to the list.

After a HotSync I can see the contacts being linked correctly and I also see my the 'Son' relationship in the contact details.

But in the list of relationships 'Son' and 'Daughter' don't appear. Worse, if I edit the relationship, it defaults to 'Assistant' (probably becaus 'Son' is not present).

Do you have Sync Relationships selected in the Conduit (Iambic Extras)? It's a new option so you may have missed it.

It is working fine for me.

I have both son and daughter added in my Treo 600 as custom relationships and they have both sync'd fine to the desktop. :up:

BTW I'm using 4.00 Build 1376

Yes. I even added a few relationships between contacts on the desktop then sync'd to my Treo and everything is showing up as it should.

You are right, the option in the Conduit was not selected. I wasn't aware of the updated options in the conduit.
I have changed the option to sync relationships but it is still the same (after a HotSync, of course).

Try one hotsync with Contacts and AGW extras both set to Hanheld Overwrites Desktop.

Ah, shame on me!
I just saw that the list of relationships on my LD is the default list (without 'Son', 'Daugther', etc).
I don't know why (and how) my customized list has been reverted to the defaults...
I apologize for the trouble I may have caused in this thread. Sorry.
