Tasks w/ funny spacing

What's up with the spacing for tasks?
the 1st one is spaced nicely; but then it almost looks like it spaces more and more....

Is this in the today view?
Is it only in there or also in other views?

Yes; the today view..

Do you have pictures assigned to contacts? I suspect it's something to do with that.
