Adriano,
The sticky for "new feature list" specificly states in the new features for CALENDAR VIEWS the following...
>>> CALENDAR VIEWS:
- All Views: Added ability to filter by Meeting Category
This simply does not work in the current build (1376). The picker to select a CATEGORY to filter by is available in DAY view, but is not available for WEEK, MONTH or YEAR views.
The lack of this important function has been a serious shortcoming in previous versions of Agendus for Windows (Palm Ed), and a feauture that Agendus for Palm as well as the native Palm Desktop supports. I am just not seeing the control for this, or has this once again been overlooked by Iambic? If its the latter, come on guys. You included a useless feature to display "Today in History", but not a feature that I, and I am sure many many others, need to support their business.

I also think this is an important feature and was glad to see it on the list of new features. But like cgordonn, I can only access this function from the day view. Was this an oversight, or is this intended? In any case, I would like to add my vote that this feature should be accessible from all views.

Same here. I agree completely. Why isn't it included? Really, a simple explanation is all that's needed.
By the way, if this was open sourced (please don't confuse with freeware), I bet this thing would have been included since the beginning.

This IS a typo. Filtering by category IS, as you state currently only available in the Day View.
We are investigating ways to implement this later, while making it more consistent with Agendus for Palm.
We have not yet concluded on what this will be.

Hi All,
Thank you for catching that. If at all possible, we'll make the meeting category filtering available in all calendar related views on or before release.

Thank you Adriano,
I know there are many issues to be resolved before this beta can go to full release. However, this is such an important function (I need it badly!) that I cant understand why it has not been implemented earlier. Category filtering is available for CONTACTS, MEMO'S, TODO'S and DAY view. How hard can it be to implement for WEEK, MONTH, YEAR and LIST views, that it has been abscent from previous versions? Palm Desktop does it, as does Agendus for Palm
Again, I and many others thank you for making this an issue to be resolved before release. Its critical for my business and I am sure the business of others. I have been a loyal user of Agendus (Action Names) since the old Newton days. But this is one shortcoming that drives me up the wall. Its a pain in the rear to have to switch between Palm Desktop and Agendus, just to do a simple task of filtering my weekly and monthly meetings by catagory.
Ok, I am off my soap box.

I agree strongly with the above postings. I love the Agendus program and the new beta looks great; it incorporates a lot of features I like from Agendus for Palm. But being able to sort by category on the week, month & year views is important and still not an option.

It's great that filtering by category has been added to all calendar views. Thank you Adriano for seeing this through. However there is still a calendar/category issue that needs to be resolved.
Printing a particular calender view, that has been filtered by a category, DOES NOT print only the filtered category items. Build 1384, when having a calendar view filtered by category, will PRINT ALL CATEGORIES, regardless of the category filter applied.
My wife, who is a heavy Agendus user, keeps her schedule and her bosses schedule on her Treo. Right now the best and only way for her to filter out and print her bosses schedule is assign all of his schedule items ONE (1) particular icon, with her schedule items assigned another icon. Agendus for PDE allows the filtering of a calendar view by icon, AND ALLOWS FOR THE PRINTING of ONLY THE ICON selected. Agendus for PDE must be tooled to print category items and ONLY THE CATEGORY ITEM SELECTED, regardless of the icon assigned to the calendar item.

Yes, it's really great that they implemented filtering by category. Thank you too Adriano.
Please don't throw up because I can't help myself and I just have to say it: "if only they can fix the printing issues and if only they could allow filtering 2 or more icons simultaneously.." :-)

The ability to print category-filtered views is in our list of improvements.
The ability to apply multiple filters is also in our list, but currently is not a high-priority. We will attempt to implement such functionality at some time in the future.
Thanks.
