Outlook 2003
Build 1376
In year view, I click a task and then click Capture Text.
The dialog comes up but the text is "AGW Advanced List Control"
Also if you're in the task list and you select just part of the task on the side bar and then click Capture Text it brings all the details of the task into the dialogue.

That's because there wasn't any text selected.
This brings up an interesting point though. We should probably disable the Capture Text button when this is the case.
If you will double click to open the task, highlight the text, right-click, select Capture Selection, then it will work.
BTW, the button in the toolbar is only available in the Outlook Edition for use with Emails.
Thanks.

Ok,
If I'm in the day or month view with tasks off to the side, (yes Outlook 2003), double click the task, it pops up and I select the text description....
Option 1: right-click and select Capture Selection... that works
Option 2: go up to toolbar and hit the Capture Text button... that gives me the same "error" as before

Yes, you're correct. I've requested changes be made.

Thanks,
The more I play with it the more I love the tool bars in emails and contacts.
Great stuff!

Add option to Map location specified by captured text.
Outlook Contact Form, Capture Text, Capture Text As:
From anywhere in Outlook, on any form - Contact, Notes, Calendar, Email ... this would allow one to quickly see the location of an address without first having to save it as a Contact.

Good idea. I'll add it to our Feature List for possible consideration for the future.
By the way, please make Feature Request in the regular FR area, so they aren't lost in the Beta threads.
Thanks for your suggestion.
