Palm Desktop Verison - build 1376
I have meeting that I assign an icon to.
Then I put some stuff in the note. If the note contains the words
"birthday" or "car" then the icon disappears.
More precicesly the character sequences, because it was happening with the word "carnival".

Check your Vivid Agenda rules. It sounds like words from VA are canceling out your icons.

It is on by default? How do I turn it off? I looked around and the only thing I could figure to do was delete all the entries in the "vivid agenda" list.
It isn't very nice of the upgrade to destroy icons that I have set up in my calendar.

I don't use vivid agenda but should the keywords be applying to the NOTE too.
In my case the words "birthday" and "car" were in the note not the description.
I can see to have special icons or colors if the description is "marks birthday".
But if the description is "orchestra concert" and the NOTE is a copy of the program informaiton that says "help celebrate Motzart's birthday" do I really want the vivid agenda triggered?
Or worse yet, the note says "carnival overture" and the meeting entry gets the vivid agenda stuff for "car"?

I think I'm having this trouble too. I don't use Agendus on my Treo, and I can't find any setting in AW OE for Vivid Agenda, but I can't change the icon on a meeting in which I took notes.
Are there Vivid settings in the AW OE?

Just wanted to chime in my agreement with the previous posters. Vivid Agendus a great and useful concept, but by default it should only apply to the subject/description field of a task or meeting, and not to fields like contact and note.
I'd also apprecate the optioin in Vivid to limit rules to whole word matches. My last name is "Carney", so any and all new appointments with members of my family were all getting the car icon. Obviously this is the first rule I turned off.
