One thing that is needed in both Agendus for Windows and Palm OS is been able to use categories for calendar items. Todos and contacts can be categorized but except for the "Private" checkmark in the calendar section, categories cannot be assigned.

At present, I can only assign categories for my appointments in Outlook.

Agreed. Now that there's a desktop program to rival Palm Desktop why not make up for Palms biggest flaw - the lack of appointment categories.

If the appointment category information is stored in the description field (the same method currently used to link contacts to appointments) Agendus will remain compatible with both the Palm Desktop and the normal Palm Datebook. Thus, an Agendus appointment would look like this:

[name](category)description

This would also make it a lot easier for other third-party applications to support categories. Plus as an Agendus advocate you'd have people using the normal Palm Datebook asking you how you get categories in your datebook once you beam them something. A perfect cue to start your sales pitch. =)

If that suggestion ain't worth a freebie Agendus/Agendus for Windows bundle I'd like to know what is. =)

I agree wholeheartedly! I had already requested this on the regular Agendus board. I would love to be able to categorize appointments and I would also like to see the dates on todo's rollover if I didn't actually complete them yesterday.

I do agree with you.
