I have a number of what I call generic appointments that repeat on a fairly regular basis, for example my Chiropractor appointment. I created a contact called Chiropractor and can rapidly drop the name into an appointment without having to use the Palm shortcuts - which are unnecessarily complicated on my Handspring Treo.

Question for you? I like your idea of creating a new "contact" in the contact list for appts you frequently have, ie: chiropractor. My question is can you also assign a specific icon and/or color to that contact so that when you bring it up it already has the icon and color attached?
I am trying to create a template function like the one in Pimlico's DateBk. I literally have a long list of templates in DateBk 5.0 that have icons already attached to them, ie: Client Lunch has a knife and fork icon with it so that I don't have to search for the icon and re-type Client Lunch.
I can't seem to come up with a solution for creating templates in an orderly manner. I agree that Palm OS shortcust is not the way to go.
Any help would be appreciated as I am really trying to take to Agendus and then I will add the Windows component.

This is one of the best "Tips and Tricks" that I've seen posted at this forum. I have been using it for ToDos and it clearly points to the need for templates for ToDos and appointments.
A further detail: I have taken to starting the text of my "ToDo contacts" with a period - this separates them from the "real" contacts.
Thanks!
