I really like Action Names, but there are a few things that I wish I could do...
Here they are:
Default Icon:
Have a specified icon that would be displayed when no other icon is specified. It could be set to <null>, in which case the existing behavior would be preserved.
This would be most helpfull for entries which are synchronized into the palm from some other application. I could use my groupware app to send the meeting notices to everyone, then it would show up in the icon calendar view. Also, it would be easy to distinguish entries that came from the groupware vs entries I made on the palm.
Calendar Navigation:
From the month view, don't just bring up the day view if tapping on a date. Instead, be more selective. For instance, in Icon view, when tapping on an icon, show information about the entry corresponding to that icon in a summary (like phone numbers). Tapping on the date would bring up the day view for that date.
