We've seen this a few times during testing, but were unable to pin down the problem. I'm actually happy to see you experienced this from the perspective of having someone else reproduce it.
What device are you using? It doesn't happen everytime does it? It only happens to me periodically, seemingly randomly.

I bought the software and got this... I get this error only when there is no caller ID info available.
Just an FYI I also have LightWav on my handheld for additional ringers, not sure if that plays any role into it.
I can replicate this every time using the free call from http://www.call-in-sick.com

I'm using this on a Tre650 GSM.
i notice something interesting.. for example, this would happen for a new (fresh) call.
however, when i select "view contact", and when i receive this call from the same person, it's fixed.
i don't have lightwav installed.
thanks.

I can also mimic skylab's problem on my Cingular Treo 650. I just held my Voicemail Key (Button 1 (E)) and when I ended the call I got all "yyyyyyy"
Well it seems to be happening more and more frequently. I am having it happen with inbound and outbound calls. Now I can't pinpoint anything :(

i haven't been able to pin down exactly when it happens and i haven't found any number with which it happens every time but it is happening to me with both incoming & outgoing calls.
let me know if i can help

I am in day 4 of my trial and have made several calls without this happening to me. I just completed an incoming call with the caller in my address book (CallerID worked) and when YourCall popped up I had nothing but squares for name and number. Somebody call the gremlin buster;-)
gottago...

I have seen this also, but if you choose to do a reverse number lookup it picks the proper phone number to do the lookup on.

When it happens (which is not all that infrequent), I can make it happen pretty consistently. For example, just a minute ago every time I dialed 205-555-1212 it showed the number as all y's. If I do a soft reset, the problem goes away (for a while, anyway).

This seems to happen for me mostly when I call a number that is in contacts and also on my SIM card and set as a speed dial in Phone Favorites.

I get this when I check my voicemail except all little squares. When I go to make it a note or something, it shows up as "voicemail" so it's working properly but displaying wrong on the first screen.
