Hi,
as some of you might have read here (http://www.iambic.com/twopeaks/), we have recently acquired a number of great titles, and we are currently having fun checking their functionality, making sure they support the latest Windows Mobile powered pocket pcs and smartphones, and pluggin-in our licensing system.
This process will take some time, but things are moving forward. Within the next few weeks we'll start releasing them on iambic.com.
If you wish to be kept in the loop and be notified as soon as we release a title, please subscribe to this thread (http://support.iambic.com/forum/subscription.php?do=addsubscription&t=25351) (you might have to signup for an account (http://support.iambic.com/forum/register.php) in these forums if you don't already have one).
Every new title that gets released we'll post a blurb about it on this thread and you'll receive an email notification about it.
Feedback, questions, and suggestions are as always welcome. Feel free to open up new thread in this subforum.
Thanks!
- Adriano

My computer crashed and I had to reload the Personal Vehicle Manager, but now it is asking me for the serial number (it stopped working). I use this program to track all my daily gas, maintance and mileage transactions on all my vehicles. I bought this product just 4 months ago, and I need the be reissued the serial/license number. The last two weeks I been frustrated with attempting to get support for this issue, I wish the last company had thought of its clients in a more favorable way, hope this company is willing to improve on it.
Please let me know the process to get my license reissued to me.
Thanks

I am very pleased to hear that you are in the process of updating all the Two Peaks products. In my opinion, TripTracker was the best travel management software in the market due to it's integration with outlook and correct handling of timezones. However the current version is not compatible with WM5 and I am therefore now unable to use it. I sincerely hope that you will launch a WM5 compatible version of this program in the near future! (We were promised this by Two Peaks a long time ago, but it never materialized). If you are looking for beta testers to assist with this development I would be happy to help!

As you said, since these files available for download are obsolete and are only trial copies, why don't you try downloading trial vesions from Handango or pocket gear's website? They have the same copies.
Good Luck. BTW, I did not have any problem downloading from iambic's site.
Good luck.

HI,
They seem to have their own much more expensive Time Program. I doubt, since there has been NO reply or comments on Billrate on this thread, that they are going to pick Billrate up. It's probably more like buying and then killing the competition - or so I suspect. I have no idea what you can do but try actually emailing them requesting to purchase Billrate and then see what they say. It works ok 'as is' but needs just a few tweaks to really be great.

Could you let all the users of Billrate know please what its fate is? It appears you have a competing product - way more expensive. Billrate is a great little program for mini-businesses. Are you going to keep selling/supporting or developing it?
Thanks,

Ah - so it sounds like it's a ways off yet. Thanks for the information. Hopefully billrate will still work on WM3. Some of us haven't taken the leap to WM5 because of some ermm 'issues'. Quite honestly I don't know what PVM is! I do hope you retain the simplicity of Billrate and solve the slowwwwwwww behaviour and refresh rate if one has has more than 20 project/clients going. A lot of us had asked for that 'fix' on the old forum boards (before they were abruptly withdrawn) as well as some tweaks in inputting costs, etc. I'm sure glad that billrate still lives!! There's a bunch of us just waiting for it.
And by the way.. I take it that Loan Analyzer will be US based. Canadians have different amortization bank laws and so forth. Any chance your program will take into account such regional differences?
Thanks for listening.....

Quick question before I go willy-nilly installing.
I had both the PVM Desktop and PPC versions.
Will the new install packages automatically upgrade my current installs or do I need to uninstall/reinstall? In other words, with the new company name attached, will it recognize the older version on my systems currently and upgrade automatically?
I also recall when the last PVM came out we had to do some funky things to our data files to migrate them - any such requirements this time? Also, your instructions show that we should create a new file, but couldn't I just point the new install to my existing dat, or do i have to import or something?

dryheatwriter -- I would suggest to uninstall the previous versions to start off cleanly. Just make sure that on the desktop you place your .dat file in a safe place. Then when the new version starts, point it to the same .dat file. No special upgrade process required, format is the same.
PPCPassion -- couldn't find the email address above within our records, please submit a ticket to customer support with first name, last name, other email addresses you might have used to purchase the product(s) and mention this thread. They'll take care of you.

I have been using the PPC version of Twin Peaks PVM 2005 successfully, but lost some data, so decided to purchase the new desktop version as well.
I bought both versions yesterday, but the new PPC version will not work with windows mobile 2003 2nd edition. When reinstalling pvm 2005, it runs, but will not sync with the new desktop version. I could try the old desktop demo version but do not have a registration key for it.

In case anyone at Iambic is keeping track, my two votes for Two Peaks software they should upgrade sooner rather than later is #1 Trip Tracker (please) and #2 BillRate. The old BillRate actually works on my WM5 PDA, so it not as big of a concern as Trip tracker, which doesn't work at all.
There was, and still is, nothing on the market like Trip Tracker. Perhaps Iambic and other companies feel that Worldmate Professional dominates, so why bother / rush development on Trip Tracker? Well, I can tell you, I paid for the annual subscription of Worldmate Professional and was SEVERLEY disapointed......it was far worse than Trip tracker was! Specifically, Worldmate can't sort itinerraries by depature date (simple and natural functionality, that their tech support confirmed it couldn't do)...Trip Tracker could do this. Worldmate kept adding flights to my Outlook calendar even though I didn't want that, with no way to turn it off.....Trip Tracker allowed you to turn Outlook syncronization on or off. Worldmate displayed hotels in the Itinerary by street address instead of city with no adjustment allowed....Trip Tracker displayed them correctly. And there were many other issues I won't bore you with.
Basically, Worldmate was pretty pathetic for as much as they want to charge for it ($79 per year), especially when you considered the extent of their tech support was confirming these inadequcies existed, and nothing else!......I will NOT be renewing. worldmate seemed like bloatware......a jack of all trades but master of none. I need reliable, efficient, and elegant itinerary manager that syncs between my desktop and WM5 PPC, and Trip Tracker was EXACTLY that until development was halted and WM5 came along
Anyway, since Worldmate is useless, there has been nothing else availible for some time now......please consider bumping Trip tracker up on your priority list! I'll be watching for it. Thanks!

I would like to second BrianChris's request to move Trip Tracker to the top of the priority list. I have been eagerly waiting for the upgrade for the same reasons. February 5th, 2007, 07:15 AM
I would like to add my support to all the others in this thread asking you to prioritize the release of a WM5 compatible version of TripTracker.
This really is a unique product, far ahead to WorldMate Pro, which I have been forced to use since I moved to WM5. As well as the above comments, in my opinion, one of the key advantages to TripTracker over the competition is that it correctly handles world times and inserts entries into the Outlook diary in the correct local time so that when you arrive at your destination and change the location to the local location, all diary entries have the correct times. WorldMate Pro is unable to do this and I'm very frustrated with it. It is also a very bloated application that requires a large amount of memory to run.
I therefore dearly want to switch back to using TripTracker and I'm happy to beta test this application.

Just like the rest of the users above, I would be ready and willing to beta any release you are willing to put out there.
I recently switched from a Treo 650 (palm os) to a Cingular 8125 (WM5) and can't use my old travel tool (TravelTracker from Silverware). I have looked around and this looks to be the best /closest/if not better version of that tool.

Hello to everyone. I'm new on this forum but have been using Agendus for Palm for years, and I miss it bitterly. I emailed support and they told me Iambic is working on a Windows Mobile for Smartphones version of Agendus. Could you me please tell if that's possible and how can I apply? Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately I'm forced to close this thread since it went off track quite a few times already and now is just becoming a flame magnet.
If you have specific questions as of when a certain app is going to be released please open up a new thread in the related forum. As far as the former TwoPeaks titles, we are down to BillRate, TripTracker and Perfect Home.
All these are in the pipeline and will be released (likely along with improvements and possibly a smartphone edition counterpart) within the next couple of months.
Thank you for your understanding.
