I've had to install Timereporter for TS on a new laptop running Win2000. I've also updated Timeslips 10.5 to the latest SR2 release. This is the sync problem from the error log:

I've also seen this message before. Or one similar to it. Got it after updating my TimeSlips version from 9.1 to 10.5. It may be caused by any version upgrade though. Anyways, there are some .dll files that need to be updated because TimeSlips doesn't include the updates for them (or they are not overwritten or something). I found the new versions by going to support.iambic.com (no www needed) and doing a search for TimeReporter for TimeSlips and "Failed to initialize". The answer was the first one in the list.

I still get the same message after copying all the DLLs from the tech support messsage you forwarded into my WINNT\System32 directory. I had already tried this before...reinstalled everyting and copied these files again and it didn't work. Exact same message as before.

I went to check this just in case I accidentally told you something wrong. Actually I did. I see in your first message that you are using Service Release 2. Different .dll files for that and iambic has not updated their ftp (the link found in the support database) with those files yet. I sent them an email on this and hopefully they will have them up pretty soon. They have a pretty fast turnaround time usually. Anyway, try updating those files again with the SR2 versions once iambic updates them.
