I have a burning question?..... I have used Agendus for palm OS for years.. but I also have a new Treo 700wx.. Is it possable to continue using my OS platform..and at the same time keep my information up to date in my Treo 700wx wich uses window base programs?.. I want to know if I can use both.. I would think the problem would be the data sync between the 2.

Is there an expert that can help me?

Thank you in advance

Hello friend,

As far as I know you cannot do this. Because the databases of windows mobile and palmOS are not the same/ not compatible.
in my Treo 700wx wich uses window base programs?

what do you mean with this? Are you using a program specially for the
winMob synchronisation?
But as I said, since there are two uncompatible database formats I dont think that this will be possible, sorry.

Sorry, David,
not quite correct...

jgoves,
if you sync your PalmOS device with Outlook, there should be no problem using the same data with your 700wx. You only have to sync it to Outlook as well.

But of course, you'll not see the Agendus features on your 700wx...

*lol*

I dont understand that much about all the WinMob stuff, sorry.
But I said afaik ;)
Anyway, I recommend to try to get a palmdevice as long palm OS is still present...

@ Tasarion: Just for understanding, if I would sync with outlook I ONLY would sync the contacts, the meetings and the memos(?!) so it wouldnt be a really efficient way for syncing, wouldnt it?

David

Yes, Outlook syncs only your PIM-data, all other applications are not involved.

So that's the point where you're right, the other information is not transferred to the Win-device. Anyway, most PalmOS programs don't have a corresponding Win application, where you could put the information into... :)
