There is a major bug with repeating To-dos. The due date reverts back to the current day.
To replicate bug:
1. Go into an existing repeating To-do item (General Tab)
2. Click on the Repeating tab
3. Click back on the Genreal tab
4. Click OK.
The repeating To-do has now been changed to the current day.

I set a todo to change my contact lenses on the 1st of the month. I want it to repeat on the 1st of each month and it doesn't display that, instead it keeps puting today's date, 24/10/2002 in the due date. I set the initial one up with 01/11/2002 as the first due date. Then I checked it off as complete since I did it early and instead of making the next due date 01/12/2002 as it should it made the next due date the 24/11/2002. Major bug!!!!

Cannot reproduce. Most probably you have option 'Record date upon competition' turned on, and marked item as completed while you've been on the General page.
Note: your steps simply cannot have any result as if data wasn't modified in the edit dialog, changes will not be saved, even if you've pressed OK button.

Please note that repeating To Dos are working differently from Meetings. To Dos are getting next occurrence when they are marked as completed, and next occurrence is counted since the completion date.

I have never marked any of these items as complete. I can reproduce this just as I wrote 100 percent of the time.

That scenario for repeating to-dos is not acceptable to me. Say I have a report due the 10th of every month, perhaps I do it on the 7th one month, the next month I want the repeat still to say due the 10th, that is when it is due, just because I did it early one month does not mean I want the repeating due date changed. Am I understandng your answer correctly?

I am having a similar problem...seems like when I try to check off a todo as completed that is scheduled for a future date, it stays on my screen as if I've never checked it off (therefore, I kept trying to check it off)...however, when I go and display my completed todo's as well, it shows that I've checked it off several times...

After more time trying to figure this one out, here’s some more info:
It seems to only happen when you have No End Date selected.
I happen to be using 11/30 as the due date with repeating dates every month on the 30th with “No End Date” selected.
To replicate bug:
1. Create a new To-Do with a due date of 11/30
2. Click on the Repeating tab and set for the item to repeat every month on the 30th.
3. Check No End Date.
4. Click OK.
5. Go into main To-Do view.
6. The item appears correct
7. Double click on the item to go back in
8. Click back on the Repeating tab
9. Click back on the General tab
10. Click OK.
11. Go back into main To-Do view.
12. The due date and repeating date will be the current day.

Then what prevents you from using Meetings to save information about regular events?

Thank you for detailed steps to reproduce. Thanks to them I was able to reproduce and fix the bug. Fixed version has build #343 and will be available for download soon.

Great.
Would you please let your team know so this can be added to my work for the beta. I already sent in the registration code request via the link provided. I am still awaiting the code however.
Thanks.

Vladimir, to answer your question for me at least I use meetings when they involve either other people and or an actual time of day. I use to-do's for things that only I ma responsible for, such as changing contact lenses or doing a report, and there is no specific time it must be done, just possibly a date due. This is the reason I have loved Action Names/Agendus for so many years as you can assign meetings to contacts and do repeating to-do's on the Palm version with no problems.
