I am not sure if other people already ask it. It's the best feature I ever used in Palm OS (Monthplanner), which I can't find in any PIM applications of Pocket pc. The basic idea is fairly simple. Setting up a day in calendar as destination day (D-day) and showing up how many days left in today space.

For examples, in month view, if Dec 6th 2006 is your wife's birthday (a marker in Dec 11th 2006), then 21 (the days from today to Dec 6th 2006) will show up in big size and color font in today grid.

Please check below link for more details:

Thank you for consideration. Hope I make me understood.

Hi Cellneuron,

are you referring to some sort of "advance reminder" kind of functionality? Something that if set on a certain meeting, will remind you starting from X days in advance of the actual meeting date?

I use a similar feature thats available with Pocket Breeze for PPC, it's the special events tab. It would be good to have these reminders of special dates in the actual calendar views with a countdown to the "special" date.
For example, I'm going to a Meat Loaf show in May 2007 (sad I know!) and have a countdown to the date (184 as it happens) but I would much rather have this date in the calendar view and not a special tab. The only problem with this (and the advantage of a tab I suppose) is that you could have too many "special events" and clutter the view. But, you could have a tab view like in Pocket Breeze for birthdays and anniversaries etc and choose (filter)which ones to be in calandar view as well.

If it is regarded as a reminder, it is only visulized in today (shows how many days). Please check the monthplanner for detail. I promise it is a really nice feature.

thank you for the additional details. I believe I got a pretty good picture of it now. Added to our list of possible additions.

I've added this to our list of future considerations. Thanks for the great feature request.
