As some of these have been noted by others.

1) Need icons in month view.
2) Contact categories are not transferring built in PIM
3) Possibility to import icons sets from Palm OS version?
4) Navigate day to day/ month to month using the navigation pad in the day and month views.
5) Set font size in all views. Unable to do so.
6) Application starts in background. Need to use a task manager to bring to foreground or tap program icon again.
7) Local power search. Have to select then press Goto button. Should just have to select and press center nav button. Also, after viewing found item, there is no way to get back to the search results. A new search will have be done.
8) Check for updates. Tapping the "ok" at the upper right will initiate another check. This should close the window and return to the last viewed Agendus screen.
9) Unable to set view when Agendus starts.
10) Unable to map Agendus to the hardware button and use the button to cyle through selected views.
11) In Contacts view, when using the filter, treat trailing spaces as wildcards unless it is followed by another letter. If possible.

Feel free to add any other issues. ;)

Noted for future releases.
2) Contact categories are not transferring built in PIM
Reported.
3) Possibility to import icons sets from Palm OS version?
You can actually do this if you have Agendus for Windows by syncing the PalmOS icons once, then going to C:\Program Files\PalmOne(Palm)\[username]\Agendus\Palm Icons Status.

There you will see the icon set(s) with an extension of .idb. You can copy this file on your WM device via Explore on ActiveSync and place it in the appropriate folder (based on where you installed), but under normal circumstances is located at \Program Files\iambic\Agendus\Data\Icons on the device.

4) Navigate day to day/ month to month using the navigation pad in the day and month views.
I'm not sure I understand you can do this using the day/month picker in the respective view.

5) Set font size in all views. Unable to do so.
On our list for possible future improvements.

6) Application starts in background. Need to use a task manager to bring to foreground or tap program icon again.
We knew this was occurring in some earlier builds, but we thought it was resolved. We will investigate further.

7) Local power search. Have to select then press Goto button. Should just have to select and press center nav button.
Understood

Also, after viewing found item, there is no way to get back to the search results. A new search will have be done.
So you're asking that the search results be retained, right? Because the entered search string is retained while still in Agendus.
8) Check for updates. Tapping the "ok" at the upper right will initiate another check. This should close the window and return to the last viewed Agendus screen.
Reported.

9) Unable to set view when Agendus starts.
Will be considered down the road in future releases.

10) Unable to map Agendus to the hardware button and use the button to cyle through selected views.
You can set your hard buttons in the devices 'Buttons' settings. Cycling will be considered down the road in future releases.

11) In Contacts view, when using the filter, treat trailing spaces as wildcards unless it is followed by another letter. If possible.
Improved filtering will most likely be considered at some point later on.
Feel free to add any other issues. ;)

Thanks for all the great findings. This helps us a great deal.

Okay, scratch that. It works differently in the PalmOS version.

Also, after viewing found item, there is no way to get back to the search results. A new search will have be done.
So you're asking that the search results be retained, right? Because the entered search string is retained while still in Agendus.
Yes. The PalmOS version will retain the results and return you to the results after viewing one of the search items. It would be nice to have that functionality. Thanx!

As far as mapping buttons, is there going to be a way to set agendus to open when pressing the 'contacts' or calendar' softkeys? changing those keys are not an option in my device (tmobile mda)

in other words, instead of pressing those buttons and having default pim open, i want them to open agendus to the respective sections of the program (contacts and calendar)

You can assign any hard button on many WM devices via Settings->Buttons

On the Cingular 8125, the Calender and Contacts buttons are non assignable. They are not listed in the button change list. Still searching for a way to change them.

Fireman, it can be done via editing the registry, if you are willing to do that. If so, I'll post back with instructions. Or, perhaps via a PM, as some folks might decide to go in and edit away in the registry and we don't want to cause a mass hard reset party here!

J, good tip for certain ppc phone users. i have done that myself in the past, and while it does come in handy, there should be no need for any type of registry change once the final version of agendus is released. there simply should be an option to allow agendus to be the primary PIM, thus automatically setting the said hardware buttons to open agendus rather than pocket outlook.

thanks!

Agreed. But I was just thinking for now... :)

Thanx for the thought. But, I agree with stupidqpid. There should be an option built in.
