Hi,
I just gave the application a quick try and found the following initial comments for this BETA/ALPHA release on my Treo 750v:
Some screens do not fit 100% correctly on the 240x240 screen of the Treo.
Completing a task does not actually commit data - the task is back after restarting Agendus.
The Notes/Memos are not present in my tasks - I make a lot of use of the RTF Notes in PocketInformant.
Scrolling with the D-Pad does not seem to work in any of the views, and this is most obvious in the 'Today' view.
Long drop-down lists such as selecting an end-time does not scroll correctly, for example to select 18:00 you have to figure out how many clicks down as you cannot see the values.
Also, it would be nice to see multpile days in the 'Today' view more like the EXCELLENT 'Agenda' view in PocketInformant.
I would really like to move to a more elegeant and Palm like PIM rather than using the overy-complex and ugly PocketInformant application, therefore I still have high-hopes for this application and will continue to provide feedback.
Maybe an a nice touch would be to provide more user documenation of the features and how everything is supposed to work so that we could test everything a little bit more thouroughly and provide better feedback.

The Notes/Memos are not present in my tasks - I make a lot of use of the RTF Notes in PocketInformant. This is known and was mentioned in the intro thread (http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26404)
Scrolling with the D-Pad does not seem to work in any of the views, and this is most obvious in the 'Today' view.I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you be more specific to what and how many items you have showing and exactly how you're scrolling?
Also, it would be nice to see multpile days in the 'Today' view more like the EXCELLENT 'Agenda' view in PocketInformant. This has been discussed with our PalmOs product, and for the time being, the Today View is exclusively for "Today"
I would really like to move to a more elegeant and Palm like PIM rather than using the overy-complex and ugly PocketInformant application, therefore I still have high-hopes for this application and will continue to provide feedback.
Thanks for your observance. We take all opinions seriously.

Understood.

Paul, thanks for reporting your findings. We want AGWM to be an outstanding application & your input adds to that. :D

Yes! Same reason for coming to this website. Hoping for something to replace PocketInformant (too complex and not responsive developer when it comes to feature requests).

Hi,
This is an follow-up to my previous message to provide clarification to my previous issues and the questions then raised and also to detail the issues after testing with Build 57:
Making changes e.g. assigning categories to Tasks still does not commit e.g. exiting Agendus looses the changes. In fact I do not think that any updates made in Agendus are committed and that all changes are lost when exiting the program, am I correct? If so I think this needs to be resolved ASAP so that we can actually use Agendus and therefore test much more effectively.
Pressing select on the D-Pad does nothing in the Today view.
Press & hold on the D-Pad does not bring up the menu in any of the views.
Scrolling with the D-Pad does not cover the full length of the 'today' screen, it only highlights agenda & task items.
Agendus always starts in the background.
The text is way too big for the small screen of a Treo e.g. The contacts list only shows two or three entries. It would be nice for this to be user adjustable.
The filter only does 'Begins with' and not a 'contains' e.g. It would be good if entering 'taxi' in the contacts filter returned both 'Top Taxi' and 'Taxi Cabs' as opposed to current implementation which would just return 'Taxi Cabs'.
Although Tasks and other items correctly show that they have an attached Note/Memo, viewing the Note page only shows the value {\pwi[] and not the correct text.
The calendar view in the Go To Date does not fit completely on the small screen of the Treo, there is a scroll bar present.
Additionally I would like to suggest the following features which I would like to see in Agendus:
A quick preview would be nice when selecting a contact item rather than instant edit mode e.g. Name & address like a business card similar to the OOB Palm OS Address Book (very useful to quickly show the taxi driver the address for the hotel).
Does Agendus not offer functionality to manage stand-alone notes/memos?
It would be good if the 'Today' view was more configurable with regard to which items are shown and in which order e.g. I would personally like to list Appointments first, then Tasks before finally showing Quote of the Day, etc.
One other suggestion I have is that it might be worth Agendus posting a sticky message in the Forum which details the current knows issues for a build, rather than everyone having to read all the messages or submitting duplicate issue reports.
Best regards, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Here we go:
Still many screens (icons, contacts) that don't properly fit within Treo's 240x240 screen.
Still doesn't carry over appointment info (group, contact, icons, etc.) from Agendus for Windows Outlook Edition (v4.20)
Doesn't recognize my system default set email program (FlexMail 2007) when I hit the email icon; sends me directly to Pocket Outlook.
Additional item(s) I'd like to see:
Option for 5 day work week in week view, not just 7 day week
Option to see week in a grid-style (a la Agendus for Palm...like on my Treo 650) vs. days crammed in next to each other.
That's it for now...but I think I'm still gonna take the plunge and buy in early on the Beta...I can't pass up 50% off on a program that will DEFINITELY improve with time I'm sure (and assuming that free upgrades will be included, right? :p )

I can confirm that the today view settings are one of the screens not fitting on the square screen. The font options running off the bottom of the screen.
