The bug with repeating To-Dos is still there in Build 363. Here is how to duplicate it and it is not consistent with the Palm version of Agendus.

In Agendus for Palm create a To-Do called To Do Test for the 10th of November and click on repeat, then select month and say every 1 month by Date. It says in the box the 10th of every month. Then click on the November 10th to-do as complete and go to the Palm default To-Do app and look at the "To Do Test" to-do and click on details. It will show it due on December 10th regardless of what date it was clicked as completed.

Do the same thing in Agendus for Windows. Create a Test To-Do due on the 10th of November. Select Repeat every 1 month and select the Date. It shows the 10th of every month. Then click on the To-Do scheduled for November 10th as completed today, the 1st of November and then look at the repeating To-Do, the new date is the 1st of December because I clicked on complete on the first of December. It doesn't matter whether record date upon completion or log on completion are checked or not.

THIS IS A MAJOR BUG IN MY OPINION, It is not consistent with the Palm version. One does not want the date of a repeating to-do to change depending on when you completed the previous occurence. This needs to be fixed. If you need more help duplicating this please let me know.

Hi,

Quick question. Do you use Agendus with Outlook or Palm Desktop data?

Thanks,
Sergiy

I use it with the Palm Desktop Version 4.1. Are you able to duplicate this problem?

I am using version 1.03. This bug is still not fixed. Here it is in a nutshell.

Create a repeating to-do to change my contacts on the 1st of the month. If I click on complete on my Palm, no matter what the date, be it the 2nd or 3rd if I am late, the next repeating to-do gets scheduled for the 1st of the next month as it should.

If I click on the to-do as complete on Agendus for Windows on say the 2nd, the next to-do is now scheduled on the 2nd of the next month, not the 1st as it should be. If I click on the 30th, say 2 days early, then the next one is scheduled on the 30th.

THIS IS A SERIOUS PAIN AND A MAJOR BUG IN MY OPINION!!!! Please let me know if you need help duplicating this.

On a Palm next item occurrence will be counted from the to do item date. It works in absolutely same way and for the windows version. I cannot confirm that there is something wrong with windows version of Agendus.

Vladimir:

Here is what I did, I had a repeating to-do scheduled for the 10th of the month for a report that is due. On my palm I clicked complete today, the 4th, and now it shows up as a to-do scheduled for the 10th of January as it should, regardless of the date I completed it.

I then went to the Windows version before hotsyncing and looked at my to-dos and checked it as complete today as well, the 4th, and now the repeat to-do shows up with a due date a January 4th, this is incorrect, it should be the 10th.

What do you recommend, should I remove the Windows version and reinstall or what? This is really annoying as the desktop version is messing up all my repeating to-dos and their dates.

Yes, I can confirm that with overdue ToDo items which are overdue for more then one repeat interval Palm and Windows version are handled bit differently. In the windows version need to mark item as completed more then once in order to make it up to date. Sorry for inconvenience, this will be fixed in the next version of Agendus for Windows, and thank you for the report
