I have a problem with one of the former TwoPeaks programs, TripTracker, that is now aquired by iambic. I've been running the program om my former iPaq 5555 (With windows mobile 2003) and syncronising with my desktop edition of TripTracker with no problems. But then I bought a new Orange SPV M5000 (same model as Qtec 9000, Imate Jasjar, O2 XDa Exec. and more). Now I no longer can syncronise with the desktop edition. First I thought is was due to some entry in the registry base either on the pda or on the desktop which remembered the former partnership with my iPaq 5555. But I have tried to uninstall the programme both on the desktop and on my pda and then installing again while i had an active partnership with the new pda, but still no contact between the two in TripTracker. With regedit programs I've looked invain for traces of a former pertnership. All other syncronisation of outlook and files between desktop and pda works fine using MS Active Sync 4.2. (well I do in fact have a similar problem syncronising MSMoney 2006 but thats another story).
Then today I got a brand new desktop too running windows XP professional like my former pc. I'm still not able to syncronise TripTracker between the new pda and the new desktop, so I wonder weather this problem is caused by lacking Windows mobile 5.0 compatability in the syncronisation function - which is not done via MS Active sync but via a function in the program itself. During the process I've had a good dialogue with iambic support, but they have not been able to come up with a solution - and that's fair enough as it's not a program developed by them but just requiered recently by them form Two Peaks.
