After a brief trial of EzAlarm, I uninstalled it without disabling the alarm I set as a test. Now I have one oddball alarm that I cannot disable, modify or delete.

How do I get rid of it?

I don't know about EzAlarm but I suppose the alarm you set does not show up in the standard alarm application, does it?
What about re-installing the EzAlarm trial, delete the alarm and then remove EzAlarm again?

It does show up in the standard alarm panel, but even though the check boxes toggle, they have no effect on the alarm and I am unable to edit the alarm name or delete it. I can however set the alarm sound to silent. That nullifies the effect, but I do not like demo software that does not uninstall cleanly. It seems a little too much like extortion.

Reinstalling is not a viable option because once the three day demo expires, you may reinstall, but only with limited functionality without purchasing. I am unwilling to purchase EzAlarm because this is not a product I intend to use.

OK, I'll see if I can get a developer or somebody of tech support to reply here. Thanks for staying tuned. ;)

Not a peep so far. I guess the developers aren't interested in supporting their product. That moves it from my "don't buy this" list to my "tell everyone else to avoid this" list. It's evolution.

rgreene501,
Sorry for the delay here. You can do this using a registry editor, but this can be dangerous unless you're experienced with modifying registry entries. Please send me a Private Message references this thread & I'll give you a new demo code to allow you to temporarily reinstall it, and allow you to remove the alarm.

If you want to try the registry method, I can explain how to do that as an alternative.
