Please use our Knowledge Base article (http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=257) for the best method of upgrading.

Additionally, for now I recommend you backup your .dat file on the PC after updating or making changes until we can work out some reported wierdness that we have not been able to reproduce internally.

Well, I'm a bit dissapointed about the answer. I've done what it says in the knowledge base but I still get the "my vehicle.dat is not valid database for this version..." message.
Hope you can give me a more detailed answer this time

Enrique

Are you getting this error on the PC version or the handheld?

on the handheld.

Ok, try this, assuming your data is accurate on the desktop. Move the .dat file on your handheld to some other folder by using File Explorer. Now launch VM on the handheld again. It should prompt you to create a database. Go ahead and create a new one. Connect to Active Sync.

Just upgraded the desktop using the handheld .dat file (v3.2 to 3.3) and everything worked a charm, and that's with 4 years of history :)

I tried to do it just as Michael told me, but it didn't work. It says that it is not recognized, not valid database or something like that. I have all my data in 2.0 and want to convert it to 3.3 and then I want to move everything from my ipaq to my desktop.
Hope you guys can help me
