There is a problem with repeating tasks. I've created the task, called '3', with a week repeat. I then view the tasks in the agendus task view and click on the task's checkbox to mark it as complete. It marks it as complete, but duplicates the task on the same day.
This works fine in pocket outlook. It does not matter if I set a weekly repeat for a day other than today, the task still gets repeated today.
I can't use Agendus for tasks until this is fixed.

I wasn't able to before and still cannot reproduce this. When you say it "duplicates" on the same day, are you verifying this by checking the date of the new item, or that it reappears in the task view? Does it still show if you change the date picker in Task View to 'Today'?

Hi Michael ;-)
Here are some screenshots that will hopefully explain the problem.
I create a task ABC due on the 15-Feb. (Screen007)
It's date is set as Tomorrow (Screen008)
And it's repeat is weekly, every Thursday (Screen009)
I complete the task, and it shows as complete for the Thursday. However, a new task is created TODAY, 14-Feb. This happens REGARDLESS of the dates chosen for the weekly repeat. (Screen010)
The NEW task has a date set to Today (Screen011)
The NEW task has a repeat set to Thursday (Screen012)
If I complete the NEW task, then it again repeats TODAY (Screen013).
If I complete the third task in Pocket Outlook, it correctly repeats on the 15-Feb (since this is the next Thursday), and if I complete again, it repeats on the 22-Feb. (Screen014).
So, I don't think it's anything wrong with the task entry itself, as pocket outlook works OK with it. It's something to do with the Agendus repeat option.
There are a few of us who seem to have this problem. Any help would be gratefully received.

Yes, this is still a problem for me to. :bulb:
I have confirmed that a NEW task is created the same day it's completed.
I'm using an Axim X51v w/ build 108

Further to the above (now above, above ;-) , the note attached to the tasks show:
RPT: B2010160-
ADV: 5
#AN
For the ones completed within Agendus, and:
ADV: 5
#AN
for the ones completed by Pocket Outlook. (At least I think they are this way around - I can confirm if it's important  ).

Repeated the steps exactly. See my screenshot. Very strange. We'll continue investigating.

Yes it does. I didn't even know that option was there! Thanks for pointing this out as it is immensely useful filter

Hi folks,
I've identified the cause of the problem with repeating tasks. In the task preferences I've got the option "Record date upon completion" set. If I uncheck this, then marking tasks as complete works as per Michaels example above. If I have this option checked (enabled) then it works incorrectly as described in the original problem.
To be honest, I'm not totally sure what this option is supposed to do. But I've unchecked it now ;) Perhaps Michael can elucidate.
btw, the box containing these options is too small as the option text reads "Record date upon completi"

Thanks for clarification. It's really due to "Record date upon completion" option. I wsa able to reproduce it with this option turned on. We've filed it and will fix it.

Great!!! Good work on finding that one 1ka1ka!
So, does anyone want to explain what "Record Date upon Completion" does? :D

When item is marked as completed it sets due date of task to current date. This is good if you want to know when tasks where completed.

This is the problem. Record date is not working properly. It should only change the date of the item that's marked complete, and not the new one that gets generated.
