Settings not saved when device is turned off

I am using a LOOX N560. When I personalize my device (set icons, change day colors) then turn my device off, when I turn it back on again all of my changes (day colors and icons) are gone and it appears to go back to default. I have not seen this issue posted but may have missed it. I can not use the program in this current state any thoughts or near term updates?

I can reproduce the loss of day color, but not icons. Can you explain exactly what steps you're doing to reproduce the loss of icons?

I set icons for business, medical etc then create a business or medical appointment. Go to month view set for icons and the icons appear. I can either exit the program or shut down the pda. Then when I either restart the program or turn the pda on there are no icons in the month view even when I set for icon view. If
