I have Iambic Premier running on my (PalmOS) Tungsten T3, and have recently bought a Windows Mobile PDA (IPAQ 4700).

SMS and mail are biggies in my life. Any plans for implementing them in this product, and if so, do you have any timescales?

Cheers

Hi tekaweni,

Can you be specific in terms of SMS what exactly you want to happen? Is it that you want a tap and hold feature or a button for SMS? I like that suggestion.

The mail has a button and you can send email with tapping and holding on the contact.

Hi Nancy, thanks for replying.

I had in mind Iambic implementing the kind of mail/sms application that Agendus already has for Palmos, ie Agendus Mail.

At present the Windows Mobile version of Agendus simply hooks into whichever mail-sending application is already on the device - and thats usually pretty awful.

I guess you'd need to cater for both the Phone and PPC editions of Windows Mobile.

Cheers!

Hi Kim,

Thanks for sharing. This is helpful. Yeah, don't know if that can been done because I would suppose we would need Agendus Mail for WM. I like your idea though.

Hi Nancy,

So Agendus Mail for WM5 isnt on the roadmap then. Pity. Thanks for clarifying anyway.

Kim,

At this point, I am not aware of what the future will bring. I wish I knew. As Michael has said, the game plan is to introduce little by little the palm features we have grown to love as they can be implemented. Whether or not that means something coming forth like Agendus Mail. I cannot tell you. I think it would be great to put your desires forth in a feature request in that sub forum. It never hurts to ask. ;)
