In Build 111-115 is a problem with the month-view: there are no icons in the icon-view (category-icons).
Cheers,
René

Hmm. Seems strange. Do you have a category filter applied? Maybe your Icons-IAMBIC.idb file was changed or deleted.

Yes, I also note strange behaviour with category icons being displayed. If I select "personal" for example, I see some icons from other categories being displayed. This does not happen with all icons or with all categories, but I can't find a particular pattern that points to the source of this problem.
Also, regarding the icons in the month view, I noticed that none of the icons for my completed tasks are being displayed in the month view.
I don't remember this being normal behaviour, as it has often come in handy to see the icon of a completed event/task from a past date just by glancing at the month view.
FYI: With other PIM software the icons of completed tasks/events/meetings, etc. are always displayed on the month view (i.e. with PI)

The category filter in the month view only applies to meetings, not tasks. This is the same behavior as in AGP and AGW.

Hmm, if that is intended behaviour, I'm not particularly in support of it as I find it confuses more than helps.
Could there be an option to enable both meetings/tasks/calls to be affected by the category selection?

Many old Palm OS users (myself included) had a completely different set of Task Categories as I did/do Meeting categories. This was the theory behind this behavior. But, I also see your point.

I see your point! However, options to turn this feature on and off doesn't hurt ;)

I too see what EP is referring to when a category filter is applied, other appointments with different categories show.

I cannot reproduce it, can you give exact steps how to reproduce it (particualrly I would like to know what cetegories you have, names, and what names are not working well).

Hi vladimir,
I have a category named "acquaintances". When I am in month view (icon view), and tap the filter to show "acquaintances", it will also show items from other categories that I have named "family" and "school" in addition to showing the "acquaintances" category as well. I haven't tried all of the filters in all the views as of yet because I have a ton of categories but, this is what happened the first time. I hope this is helpful.

And "family" and "school" are meeting categories, right? Not tasks?

Michael, I just noticed that the item that is showing that is labeled school is a task not an appointment so I am assuming that is correct behavior after all.
I would appreciate some guidance since I am still trying to de-program myself from Pocket Informant. In the themes view, it is not transparent to me as to how that precisely works and to what purpose it serves. I see that you make a selection from an appointment, task or contact radio button. However, I see that the category list itself doesn't change upon selecting a radio button. What is exactly happening say when I tap contact radio button and then go and select a color from any given list item. Is it coloring the list item for contacts only? Please advise. Thanks in advance.:)

I'm glad we've cleared up the icon thing. Regarding the themes..
As you know, different types can belong to the same category. This setting allows you to set the auto-background color for each type of event. So when the respective radio button is selected, it ONLY applies the change to that item type.
