When I try to launch any app on my SDHC card from the Propel program it says "unable to launch database".

When I use the Palm defalut launcher area I can launch the apps off the SDHC card.

I had a SD card and I moved it from my old Spint 700 to my new Cingular 680 and I could launch apps on the SD card from Propel without having to install them from the Palm install program.
I bought a SDHC card and copied the SD card to the SDHC card and Propel is not lauching any program on the SDHC card, but I can launch them from the default Palm launcher area.

Any Tips/Hints.

One thing I can try is to delete a program from the SDHC card and then install it normally from the Palm install to the SDHC card and see if it works.

it shouldn't matter how the app is installed. It just has to be in the standard Palm/Launcher folder

I can't think why the sd card would make a difference. If the palm recognises it, then it is just treated as a standard VFS volume

have you done a refresh of your list? - Does propel 'see' the new app?

Found when I went to view-options. Then on the drop down selected "Files on SD Card" and checked the 'Apps on SD card' checkbox it worked. For some reason the 'none' checkbox was selected only.

Maybe since the 'none' checkbox was selected Propel was not accessing the SD Card? Don't know but it is working now. :)

ah - that's the default.
files on sd card is intended for .doc, .xls, jpg etc

in the Apps view, your sd apps will show by default.

of course, you can customise the views as you like.
