Task do not appear on the task view

When I create a new task I can only see it on the calendar view but not on the task view. This makes the task less useful for me, as I cannot use the task matrix view nor any other view of the tasks. I made sure that there was no filter applied. It appears to be something simple to solve but I haven't been able to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you really sure that you didn't set any filtering?

Have you checked the view options (dated - undated entries, completed...) and the category settings?
Maybe there is no due date set and you have selected to show a certain period of time (next 14 days or so).

Can you check that again?

ok, I found the problem. Under "options" not all the priorities were checked, so this affected the display. I knew it was something pretty simple. Thanks a lot for your help.

Great that it was such simple.
Sometimes one looses the overview in these many options :D
