I run Win 2000 SR3, Outlook 2000 SR1, Agendus 4 Win 1.01, Agendus 5.3.4, Pockect mirror PRO 3.1.2, Palm Desktop 4.0.1 and Hotsynch 4.02. I use a Palm 515.

1. I have an interesting problem with appointments. If I create an appointment in Ag4Win in the Calendar view by dragging a contact from the lower right window it is not displayed in Outlook.

2. If I create an appointment on the calendar (but not dragging as in 1. the appointment appears in Outlook but the alarm is triggered immediately no matter how much later the appointment & corresponding alarm are.

For the above two problems I include a shot of the screen.

Additionally I have problem that shows up with Agendus on the Palm.

3. Having created an appointment as above and synchronizing, the appointment appears in the palm but with a couple of problems:
a. If I do not have a location, the Contact and the description lkoose the last character. This means the contact shows as [... without the closing bracket and Agendus does not recognize that it is a valid contact With all the implications eg history. The appointment has synched corrrectly as in DateBook i see the missing characters!.
b. If the appointment has a location the location is shown as part of the contact, eg [ABC] {location
but no closing } as there should be. THe description still loses one character. Again the missing characters are in DateBook, ie in the file.

BTW I have deinstalled and reinstalled ALL the above software (excepting Win 2000) and it has made no difference.

Vladimir,

The fix works beautifully when the appointment is created in Agendus 4 Win. However these problems still remain:

1. Appointments created using Outlook and selecting a contact display OK in Agendus 4 win but do not in Agendus in the Palm, they do not have a contact even though the contact name is displayed in Ag4Win. Note that location is displayed correctly as part of the description (see 2.)

2. Outlook appointments updated in Ag4Win will display correctly in A4W and in Outlook will now show the contact name as [Contact] but will no longer have the Outlook link to the contact. (Sort of acceptable but better if they kept the link)
In the Palm they will display correctly unless they have a location in which case the location is taken as being a part of the contact and the contact name is displayed as follows: "contact-name] {location"

3. Old appointments (mostly repeating) still have the problem in display by the palm. For clarity sake I did a hard reset so they would be synched afresh but this did not fix it.

You are nearly there!
regards
Richard:)
