Categories for Calls

Are there ever going to be categories for calls? I use the color coding heavily and being able to assign calls a category ( and therefore a specific color) would be very helpful.

The colors allow me to see a a quick glance if my meeting or task that I have scheduled is personal or one of the multiple work categories I have.

Interestingly, I never have thought about categorizing my calls. They, for some reason, seem separate from my tasks. Your request sounds reasonable enough.

Maybe Michael or Adriano can enlighten us. Are calls in the palm version utilizing categories? I haven't run the palm version in a hundred years so I don't even know what that version does anymore. :o

Calls on the PalmOS side can't be categorized either. This is because a call is nothing but a task in a special category in Agendus for PalmOS.

There have been requests for that already, but it's not that easy to implement.
A workaround is to use the Vivid Agenda feature to assign an icon and/or color to a call with a certain keyword.

Thanks for the replies. I am not familiar with Vivid Agendus ( although there is a dark and dusty section of my mind that recalls it from my Palm days ) Is it part or going to be part of Agendus for WM 5?


NM I just did a search for "Vivid" and had my question answered. I guess I will just have to wait until this shows up

Chris, thanks for enlightening us!:up: Personally, I can't wait until we get the vivid agendas on the WM side. Should be a very good solution to this.:D
