This feature has not yet been implemented, but will be in a future update.
There are many users that want this and the developers are working hard to add it in. :D

Hi,
I too would like to see Agendus set as the default calender app to over ride the standard one. Is there any news as to when this may happen? Is it a definate feature of a future upgrade ??
I am currently trialing Agendus on my new Windows Mobile I used it for months on my older PalmOS) - but it absolutely must have this feature in future otherwise unfortunately I will look for another app (with regret  !!)
I'm quite surprised this wasn't already an option as I have trialed others that all seems to intergrate alot better but just don't have the same features / user friendly layouts etc..... Please add this feature QUICKLY !!!

Hi Helen,
Believe me, we are all anxious for this one. There is a post in the forums that says they are aiming for version 103 for this feature.

Pockets, if you go to your Agendus Preferences and then "Programs", you will see the option to make Agendus your default PIM application.
If the feature doesn't work for you, please report that on this thread

OK That's fine but,
Once you have set Agendus as the default PIM program, ¿can it be easily undone?
thanks

Yes, you go to the same spot that you activated that setting at and just click on it again to de-activate it

Yes, it can. Just go back to preferences and tap the same button you used to set it to default and it will un-set it. I hope this helps.

I know I'm in the wrong thread as far as handheld OS, but I'm wondering if there's a way to do this for Agendus Pro for Palm desktop. I don't use Outlook for anything other than email -- my calendar, tasks, etc. are all done through agendus.
I also thought I might be able to set it as the default for XP, but when I go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs (tab) > Calendar (drop-down), neither Palm nor Agendus are options (and there doesn't seem to be a way to add a calendar--I'm stuck with Microsoft's single option of ... Microsoft.)
If you know of any way to solve either of these problems (which may be one and the same I think), I'd appreciate it. I'm running the latest version of Agendus Pro, but there is no option to make Agendus my default PIM in my preferences > programs menu.
Pockets, if you go to your Agendus Preferences and then "Programs", you will see the option to make Agendus your default PIM application.
If the feature doesn't work for you, please report that on this thread

I am using the trial Agendus 1.1 and cannot find the "programs" option in preferences - there is a video posted in this forum and the list of options looks different to this as well. Am I just being dumb? Like many others the option to integrate Agendus (which I love) is the thing that prevents me from making a purchase. Help appreciated.

Hi atomboy,
Welcome and thanks for your interest in Agendus. Can you tell me what type of device you are using, what version of Agendus did you download (ppc or smartphone) and just to verify you have Version 1.1 build 192 in the about screen. You can access the About Screen in Menu>About Agendus.
To review. Can you do the following: tap menu (bottom right of screen), tap preferences, tap menu again in the right bottom and a popup list of settings appears to the right of your screen. Scroll to the bottom of the list with the down arrow which is on the very bottom of the popup list. Do you see programs? Let me know step by step exactly what you are doing. :D

Hi Nancy,
I am using Tmobile MD Vario II (aka Tytn)
I have checked and I am using v1.1 for Windows Mobile Pocket PC - file date 7/5/2007 however I cannot tell you the build number because I have no preferences option. Yes I can go to menu and select all the various views, themes and icon defaults but no preferences.
Is it me?
Paul

Hi Paul,
Yes I can go to menu and select all the various views, themes and icon defaults but no preferences.
Not sure what this means exactly.
Can you go to menu> preferences? You say defaults but no preferences. Defaults are in preferences.
Give me step by step what you are doing and what you see exactly. Or, if you can, the screen shot is easiest.
To confirm, you have a touchscreen from what I see on google searches for your device correct? If so, then the pocket pc version should be correct. If you can, I would try to uninstall, soft reset, reinstall. If you still have problems we need to have you submit a support ticket because it sounds like unusual behavior.

There is a new beta located in the forums that has added functions for default pim. Can you please test it and tell us if your problem still exists? Please report your findings in the beta forum.

Thanks Nancy; that thread seems to be closed; I installed the beta update but still no go. The Tasks and Contacts are default, but not the calendar.

Hi Paul,
Yes, the thread is closed so you have to post a new thread in the beta forum whenever there is a bug report. Thanks for getting back with me on this. If anything you get to try some new features even though the issue still exists. We have it reported, but it may be a while to get to the bottom of the matter. Each manufacturer can disable or enable parts of the OS causing these challenges.
