I am a long time agendus user for my palmpilot and desktop. I, however, never used it with or as an Outlook replacement, or as an Outlook substitute (I don't use Outlook).

I have a client who is having an issue with her mobile phone data connectivity, and I want to know how agendus can be used to fix the problem.

Her phone will sync with Outlook, but not use that as an email client. In other words, she can read her Outllok email sync'ed from the PC, and send and receive emails in "another account" on the cell phone (not where the Outlook data is), but any email she downloads, or any outgoing email she sends out of the phone will never get back into her outlook or sync'ed back onto her desktop.

Can Agendus send email and sync email as well as PDA information both directions (PC->Phone & Phone->PC) with Outlook? What about with the Agendus Desktop for Outlook on the PC and Agendus Mail on the phone?

Thanx for any feedback...
Steven

Hi Steven,

Let me try to be concise. She can sync her "Sent" folder in Outlook on the PC with her device. She would always have to send her mail through Outlook on the device and then sync to transfer it to Outlook where it is then really sent. The items then sent with Outlook would be in her "Sent" folder on the Desktop and those are the ones that will be synchronized on her device too. Agendus utilizes the native inbox on the WM device.

To synchronize the Sent folder in Outlook with her device, she can connect her device through Activesync and then double click the inbox icon in the sync list to open inbox options. Next, Select Folders button on the lower right of that screen to select the folders she would like to sync. The "Sent" folder will be there.

Secondly, Agendus Mail is a Palm Product and will not work on WM operating system.

If she doesn't want to use outlook on the device to send email the sent items from that client do not synchronize with outlook.

Thank you for the information. It seems strange that there is no way to take the outlook email mobile send and receive emails out of the outlook profile, and sync it back to the desktop except through an exchange server.
