I have seen mentioned somewhere (in the forums I believe) about a desktop version and sync'ing the information between the two. I have not been able to find a desktop version. I would very much like to have a desktop version, is there one in the works?
I believe that it could be helpful in a number of ways. For one as a way to safeguard the information from the PDA from being lost. Another idea I was thinking of is a possibility of helping the PDA version run a little faster. If you could store/keep the FULL database of food nutrition information on the desktop and only store the "favorites" or most common items that you KNOW you'll be using on the PDA. This would keep the database on the PDA smaller and I would imagine could speed up the program as well as save space on the PDA.
