At the risk of being thrown off this forum, I must however protest!

Upon clicking into the forum, I am presented with the message:

Hello iant54,

Our records indicate that you have never posted to our site before! Why not make your first post today by saying hello to our community in one of the "Everything Else" forums below?

Start with your first post today and become an active part of iambic Forums now!

Which is rather strange, as I have a number of e-mails similar to the following:

Dear iant54,

jobrazy has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - when when when?? - in the General and Miscellaneous forum of iambic Forums.

This thread is located at:
http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28451&goto=newpost

Please click on the link above in order to view jobrazy's reply.

There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

All the best,
iambic Forums

I did post a couple of days ago, and considered that what I posted was uncontroversial, however neither my post nor the thread are here, and have clearly been "moderated".

Instead of quietly removing the thread and pretending that I have never posted, why not be open with the deletion!

Maybe Iambic's forum isn't as open as you think....it certainly keeps them from looking bad now doesn't it?:weird:

I assure you that nothing out of line has taken place here. I'm sure it was some glitch in the system that caused this. We would have nothing to gain by doing what is alleged here, unless the forums policy is broken.

Actually, it is really (really) rare that any of us do delete even a single post.

Interesting. I too have not logged in or posted for a few weeks and today I was presented with the same message.

It appears that some topics that I posted to have in fact dissapeared from the forum.

Cheers,
Jim

Hm... I wonder if they were affected by the recent reorganization of the forums, perhaps the links (such as in the email below) were broken when an item moved. Do you have a date filter affecting searches you've done?

Caspel,

Yes I think the links were broken I've since found the posts
Cheers

If I understand right, your concern was resolved, do you mind if I remove the icon for this thread?
