I'm evaluating Agendus both for Windows and Palm.
1] I've realized from other threads that neither version will allow you to pre-assign an icon to categories of either ToDos or appointments, but need to add them manually every time a new ToDo or meeting is scheduled: is this feature going to be added soon?
2] can the Windows version have Outlook Express chosen as the email client? Right now, it appears only Outlook is an option.
3] Can filters be locked in permanently? Ie., in the month calendar view, I only want to see meetings, not calls or ToDos, but every time I go back to this view, I have to set the filter manually. Am I missing something, or is this also a future feature?

Yes. No exact ETA, but we are going to add this feature.

Yes, it can. Agendus uses your default email client. To choose OE go to the Internet Explorer -> Tools menu -> Internet Options... -> Programs -> E-mail (shoose Outlook Express in the drop-down list.

Filtering options should be correctly restored even after Agendus restart.
However there few cases when filter gets reset to the 'Show all state", mainly it happens on creation of new item which does not match filtering rules (as it should be at once displayed), on pressing Go To button in the search of alarm windows if target item is invisible due to filtering. There few more cases like these may be you are experiencing some of them. But all of them must be working so as otherwise it will be difficult to use Agendus.
