After installation and setup I performed the "Lock and Off" function. Then I turned on my Treo, got the system lockout screen rather than a Warden screen, and when I enter my security password, the device unlocks momentarily and then shuts off, locking again. Only recourse is a hard reset. Thank goodness I backed up before installing and trying. I repeated the install again, just in case I performed an operator error, being extra careful the second time . . . same results! Can't use the app!

What the heck is "Warden" in the first place? Yet another worthless iambic app?

Warden Security Professional is the official title . . . a third party product resold by iambic.

For the Windows Mobile Treo, Warden flunked the test. It would continually auto lock even when the settings where set to Never. Also, it could not see my phone number and trying to select my number was fruitless. The dropdown that is supposed to contain my number had nothing in it and the words Static beside it. I could deselect show owner in settings but it would still show and visa versa so it was all wacked out. In general, the settings seemed to malfuction in several ways.

I tried the various auto lock settings and, in particular, the lock when sd card removed and that caused me nothing but headaches as the Treo and WM5 are noted for initialization problems so my device kept locking thinking the card was gone. :(

In the manual, it shows a battery indicator and a network strength indicator on the lock screen but the WM version does not appear to show these. :confused:

Furthermore, there seems to be no documentation for the WM version?
