Welcome. Which Treo do you have?
The .cab files will install on Windows Mobile devices, which are labeled Pocket PC at the iambic website, or you can use the Windows Installer (PC Setup).
Palm OS Treos can use the Windows installer or the .prc "Nutshell" installers.
Treo 600, 650, 700p, 680, and 750p are Palm OS devices.
Treo 700w and wx and the 750 are Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone edition devices.
On the front page of the website, click on Palm OS or Pocket PC to find the correct application download for your Treo.

Hi,
How did you manage to unzip a .cab file? They don't normally show you anything much meaningful.
Do this: take the intact .cab file, sync your Treo, and click "Explore" in ActiveSync. Navigate to your storage card on the Treo and drag the file from your desktop and drop it on the card.
Then start File Explorer on the Treo and navigate to where you dropped the .cab file. Tap on it to run the installer. It's okay to install Agendus to the storage card.
Enjoy.

Hello Lamar,
Thank U for your helpfull info and easy to follow instructions. Unfortunately when I run the cab in the file explorer on the treo 750, I get the message that the certificate is not valid. Then the EXE file tells me " Iambic Agendus Professional does not support the connected device type. Application will make the app. available when a supported device is connected." By going directly to the exe file download, even though I tell it to open despite the app not having the certificate, the treo won't run it.... Ayeyayai. Am I the first to install this program on the treo 750?? What next?? Sure am trying to work through this.. Thanks for your patience, and continued support. Marie aka skigolfer13.

Have you downloaded the PPC version or the smartphone version of Agendus? You won't be able to use the smartphone version because your device has a touchscreen - try the PPC one

Thanks for your post replies,,,,, I'm just going to forget about agendus, What the hell is a pps :weird: ???? If I'm having this much trouble downloading the program, how much trouble will I have using it or getting answers that fix my problems.... I have used DateBk5 for years and it was great.... I guess I bought the wrong phone... Why didn't the previous replies tell me right off about the pps thin :sour: TTFN

Hi,
Well, thanks for giving it a shot. PPC is short-hand for Pocket PC.

Good news Marie.
The reason it may have not worked is you may have downloaded the Smartphone version instead of the PPC (Pocket PC) version which is the version for the Treo. It would be appropriate for you to receive an error message when the wrong version is executed on the device. Thing with Treos (I have one too) is Palm totally confused it's customers in calling it a Smartphone when it actually is not. Smartphone is a term for devices without touchscreens. The Treo is a Pocket PC with a touchscreen (as you know). Glad you got it working. Enjoy!:D
