It would be great if Propel would add the compatibility of the x files of office 2007, such as *.docx and the others.

Do you have DTG 10? This should work fine if you're using DTG 10, which supports Office 07 files.

haha, I forgot to change that in my signature. Yes, I have DTG 10, which by the way ONLY views 2007 files and does NOT edit them. (what a waste of money!)

What I'm talking about is under the preferences in Propel> programs to use.
There are different file endings. The *.docx, *.xlsx and *.pptx are not listed as files to be opened with DTG 10. I would like to be able to launch those files from Propel also.

Ah. I see. I'll report this. Thanks.

I wonder if you can check something.
I'm hoping you have access to Palm's 'Files' app (it is bundled on the 680 cd, but I don't know about the 700)

If so, can it launch a .docx file to docs to go?
that will tell me if dtg10 actually registers to handle this filetype

thanks

Yes it does. I went to the files application. Then I clicked on the *.docx file and it opened in DTG10. Of course, I can't edit the darn thing....but I can view it. (Stupid Dataviz! I need to edit it.)
