Preference - Button

On "button" menu within preference, if "Addressbook" hardware button is chosen as "Go to view", the second line of the selection ("contact view", etc.) is garbled with image of different datebook views (1,7, etc.)

Thanks for reporting that, unfortunately we have been unable to reproduce it. If it still causing you a problem can you please give the model and OS of Palm device that you are using.

I can report something similar!

On my german AND versions' Prefs+Buttons I see the following:
I immediately go to the ToDo-button-tab or Contacts-button tab. They are not assigned to ActionNames. Below I see the text

<Assigned To> (BTW not in German!).

When I tap on that text the icons from the "cycle views" options appear and I can select and deselect them! When I tap the button tab again, the icons disappear (are overdrawn), but I can bring them back, when I tap on them again.
This effect disappears, when I assign the button to AND, choose an option from the picklist, and deassign the button again.

I'm running AND on a Palm IIIxe with OS 3.5.0 german.

Sure...

My setup: Palm Vx
Datebook button: Assigned to Action Names, Cycle Views.
Address book button: Assigned to Action Names, Go to Views/Contact List.

Go to Pref-Buttons. Select Addressbook button tab. Click on anywhere on the second drop-down menu (which should be showing "contact list")... Number 1, 7, 31,1/4, person icons pop up instead.

I can confirm, what kevinwoo experienced. It happens, when you SLIGHTLY MISS the picklist. I clicked below the picklist, and there they were! The icons apear one after another, if you click where they are on the "cycle view" options screen.

Hi!

Seem to hv a similar problem with Contact HardButton. (Go View-> Contact List). The other button mostly cycle OK.

Lots of inconsistencies on refresh, as indicated above! Sometimes selecting Quarter, then <Apply>, and when u go back to Prefs & it shows 'Auto' and brings up a blank list, when this option does not exist!

Contact List has never worked on the first click, either on my m505, or my wife's IIIXE. When u click it twice, it does bring up the Contact. Tried going back to ANAddress proggie, and that works O.K.
