Hi all, this is my first post.

I was using an older version of Agendus Pro on my old TungstenT, and yesterday went and bought a Verizon Treo 700p and then upgraded to the latest version of Agendus for Palm OS, as well as the desktop version. Then today I see there is actually a version for smartphones. Great.

So, my question are:
- Am I missing a bunch of functionality by only having the Palm version on my Treo?
- If I install the smartphone version of Agendus does that mean I don't need the Wireless Sync that Verizon is going to charge me $50 a month for?

Please bear with my somewhat simple questions. I haven't upgraded anything in the last 3 years until yesterday!

I did quickly discover the syncing problems between the desktop and palm for meetings that repeat monthly. Very annoying, and I'm glad I didn't spend much time on it before seeing the posts on it here - quite helpful!

If I read your post correctly, you have a Treo 700P, which runs the PalmOS system, and so you would use Agendus for Palm. (There are also versions for Windows Mobile Smartphones, Pocket PC, etc.) Based on your needs, you may find Agendus for Palm Premiere edition a better fit.

Please note that beta testing of AGP 12 just started, and you can find it in the Palm OS/Beta releases forum.

Verizon's Wireless Sync scared me so I disabled it. I have also switched to Cingular (AT&T). I can't give you a good comparison between Palm and Mobile Windows since I have only Palm devices. There is a LOT od 3rd party software for the Palm. I'm under the impression there isn't as much Moble Windows stuff.

I would suggest that you use Agendus 11.1 for the time being. A new user trying to learn Agendus on a new device with a beta version seems to be a punishing thing to the new user. Release 12 will take a while to settle down.
