Iambic developers... please send out for pizza, open a few beers and put your heads together to come up with a more acceptable trigger for the "other phone numbers / dial number" picklist icon (triangle) now displayed in the contact list in AN5.

It's just too forced and is a major detraction from AN's user interface. It leaves the contact name too compressed and the number/icon/note too "busy". The previously balanced contact list view simply looks "off balance" now.

I'm sure there's a better solution to implement the new dial feature quickly yet not harm AN's appearance.

Whoever comes up with the solution gets Friday's off for the rest of the year (per Mr. Graupa). :)

Thanks,

Kevin

I'll join with Kevin, and a lot of members of the Yahoo! AN Forum, in agreeing that the triangle is awfully obtrusive for this feature.

I know this is a bit of a refrain, but if there's no better solution, can we please make it's display an option?

The original methodology was fine. If it was done so that the number could be tapped for a smart phone, I think it would be better if you HELD the stylus on the number and got Dial and SMS as options in a pull down.

I disagree with you both. Not having the arrow there makes selecting a number to dial so much more cumbersome.

I think that at the very least, being able to dial a number just by tapping on it in the contact list is essential.

Thanks.
