Blackjack Smart Phone

I currently use a TREO 700 and AWM with SPRINT. I am having so many problems with SPRINT that I have switched to AT&T. I have also switched phones, company isssue, to now a SAMSUNG Blackjack. My question is can I just get a new code to download to the new phone, or do I have to get the version for smartphones
