I have used and loved Agendus with a Palm PDA for some time. For a variety of reasons I am buying a AT&T 8525 phone. I have two choices. Keep my Palm T5 for appointment scheduling or try to switch and keep appointments on the 8525. Agendus in Palm did two important things for me. One it linked contacts to appointent events and it make repeating meetings easy. I see lots of clients every week at the same time and the repeat function is important. Does Agendus for windows mobile handle these functions about the same way? Thanks Bill

Hi Bill,
Agendus for Windows Mobile does allow you to assign multiple attendees to a meeting or task.
It also features a repeat function.
Since you don't already have a WM device, you can't really demo Agendus yet, but you should take a look at the instruction manual for Agendus to see if these features offer what you are looking for.
Good luck and if you have any other questions, don't be afraid to ask on the forum.

Just wanted to clarify. In the palm os, contacts and the calendar function are not linked. Agendus links the two. So when you start to schedule a meeting, if it is with a contact, Agendus puts your contact into a meeting time. Does that same thing happen with Windows mobile? Thanks

Hi billrush,
Agendus WM does link a contact to a meeting. It will do this via the autofill box on the edit screen just like the palm version does. The appointment's decription will then include the contact name and number which can be tapped to dial.
Meeting attendees can also be added to a meeting in the edit screen via the contact tab (people icon). This will allow you to link attendees. An icon (people) will then be displayed to the right of the meeting description. You may open that appointment and go back to the meeting attendees tab to access the contact's links.
Personally, if I where you, I would test Agendus first. Only you will know if it is the right fit. ;) It is a significant device OS change- without Agendus even loaded on the device - it is best to try firsthand. Keep your Palm as primary until you have had a good trial on the new device. Then, once you feel ready, move everything over. I hope this helps. :)

thanks. Right now I use Companionlink express to synch Goldmine to the Palm desktop. As I understand it, Companionlink Pro will allow you to synch with two devices. I have an e-mail into Companionlink to confirm that I can synck GM to my old Palm T5 as well as the new 8525. Yikes. I will keep good back-ups during the tranition. Thanks

Agreed with EP. Things can get hairy if you are trying to sync two devices. ;) Not impossible though. You just have to me a bit more deligent in overseeing that things are going back and forth properly.;)
I used to sync my pocket pc and then tell Chapura to have Outlook overwrite my palm and then I was assured my Palm had all of the right data.
