Hello,
I always thought that VM works really fine and stable, but yesterday the problems begun:
1. Suddenly my PPC showed a new vehicle, with the same name and data of my main vehicle, but without any entries. I decided to delete this new vehicle, but that wasn't a good idea. Syncing the device with my PC deleted my main vehicle on both sides...
2. My test vehicle had just one reminder which I wanted to delete on the device. This didn't work. I've had to delete it on the PC.
Then I've tried to analyse the database file with the program SQLite Administrator (http://sqliteadmin.orbmu2k.de/):
3. The Entry tabel contains all the entries from my deleted vehicles. It seems that entries only get deleted if I delete them one by one before deleting the vehicle.
4. The Notification table still contains the deleted reminder.
5. The Vehicle table contains 2 vehicles with the RefID "0". Normally I would say that this should cause troubles for both vahicles, but they seem to work fine. Aren't the tables Entry and Vehicle connected by the RefID of the vehicles?
6. Most RefIDs of all tables are "0". It seems that just the newer ones get higher numbers. That is a little bit strange.
7. In the Entry table the litres/gallons column is called "Custom1" and the cost per litre/gallon column is called "Custom2". That isn't really bad, but it looks nonprofessional.
Apart from these issues I have some feature requests:
8. Not being able to start the program on the device while it is connected with the PC is really annoying. I have several programs which sync with the PC and don't have such limitations. It would be nice if you could change this.
9. It would be nice if the program could show some more analysis than just the quick stats. Some graphs would be nice, e.g. for showing the progress of the consumption and the fuel cost.
10. A special shortcut/program to quickly add a fuel entry (without the stylus) would also be nice.
