I've used the beta 6 version on my tungsten for a few days and I think it is great. However, I think it should had the option of creating templates and to interact with other programs (not just the regular Palm PIMs).
I also think that there should be an option to make one of the views the default view upon starting the program or the device for the first time in a day.

I have not found out where to apply a background to the Today screen - is it only for registered users?

You can make a Background image if you have a device that has an expansion card. The instructions are in the manual in another post. My problem with the feature is that it has to be loaded from the card every time agendus is started and it takes forever.

>Meetings now support categories

Will be possible to syncronize the categories (and their related colors) of the meetings with the Palm Desktop?
Thanks and regards.

I really like the new added features to Agendus 6. My only concern is that before in the select time view you could write in the hour and it would select it for you in the box, but now you have to tap the actual hour and minutes. That's rather frustrating for me and more time-consuming. I do, however, like the fact that you can choose the minutes, but can it be setup in the box format in order to be able to write in the time as before? I hope I'm making sense with my comment. Please advise -- thanks!

I have noticed that in both the day and weekly views, whatever the stylus size, I must tap slightly below the bottom of the line to access any entry. Is this a reported problem? Is it particular to the Sony - I use a 615?

If I am in the Today view, then switch to the 7-day view, then do a find for a particular event and get the result - a day later than Today's - when I tap on that day I am returned to today in the Today view rather than to the date I tapped. Is this by design? If so, why?

Thanks for your response.

How do you do it? Besides using the High resolution option under preferences. My fonts look very pixelated -- what's the deal?

Just a thought: Since we can choose which week view we want and the to-do's are already on the today page, could you lose the respective buttons on the toolbar? They make it unecessarily crowded on-screen. Thanks,

PS: Like the new version so far, but seems more like clunkiness added to the 5.35 version. Care to clean it up, maybe add some REAL improvements? thanks

I had down loaded the current Beta versionon top of my registered 5.x version of Palm Agendus. I am not able to see the Today show options and hence not able to change the background image. Does the version 6 need a clean install or am I missing something?

Thanx

I bought the most recent version of Agendus (5.something), got it installed and working. Keyed in my registration number (it came via email), and all was well.

Then I installed the beta...now it says I have two days left of my "trial". I tried to key in my new registration number, and it won't take it.

I called (earlier this week) Iambic, and all I got is a shrieking fax tone.

Can anyone help?

Just my 2 cents on enhancing the Agendus navigation capabilities:

- The navigating "joystick" on the Tungsten Palm should have much more support in Agendus. Bringing up submenus on items, selecting items, etc. needs to be much more prevalent in all aspects of the program. Especially in the contacts area.

- The "dial" feature works fine with Bluetooth, but there is again no support for the navigating controller on the Tungsten. Also there is an extra dialog when dialing a name after you've selected the contact, picked "Dial" from the drop down, and then selected the number. It asks "Dial this contact's number?" ... the answer should be obvious if three clicks have already been entered to get this far. I just use the Palm built in address book for this because Agendus can't do it well yet.

Thanks!

Here are a few feature ideas:

- TODO -> Event relationships. One of the reasons
that I purchased Agendus is because of the ability
to associate contacts with scheduled events. I think
this should be extended to TODOs as well. I would like to be able to associate multiple TODO ltems with a specific scheduled event. So, when I view the event it also includes a potential TODO list for that
specific event.

- Associate multiple contacts with a single scheduled event (I think only 1 is supported now)

- Assign bitmap with contact. I would like to be able
to upload small pictures to associate with a contact
entry (like their picture). I understand this would
be hard to implement, but I figured it would be
worth asking for :-)

Thanks!

Bug report:

To Do Settings, Sort Order: 1 - Completed - does not work

this setting does not affect none of the todo views Daily, Todo, others, ...

In the previous version in Daily view I could see also todo's for the following days is this still possible ?

Agendus 6 looks good

Thanks for reporting this.

....

yes this can now be controlled on a to do by to do basis and it is labelled "Advance" as in how many days in advance do you want this to do to show in the 1 day split and list views.

Tx for advice with advance settings. (Have found as well).

Bug report #2 (Advance settings):
-------------------------------------------
After creating a ToDo for a future date eg. Friday and setting Advance to couple of days the following happens:
1) the todo is visible only on the due date
2) the todo is visible also on some dates before the due date but not in the today (even if advance is well beyond today also in the past)
3) the todo is not visible at all (not even on the due date) - this happens only if advance is set to All
Sometimes the Advance settings works correctly but no idea when the correct behaviour or 1) or 2) applies

IBM Workpad c3, OS 3.5

In your documentation about ToDo Settings the Future Items settings is still mentioned - even not included in actual program code.

Feature request:
---------------------
Completed todo's on todays view only - to be formatted with strikout font.

Looking on a day view in past no todo items with due date in future (with advance settings) should be visible. If some not completed todo's are visible than only items due on that day

Bug report #3
------------------
In contact list (one line view) for some contact the number is not displayed - usually if contact has only one telephone number. (This behaviour is the same as in Agendus 4.x, 5.x)

Feature request #2
-------------------------
The option to display the telephone numbers in contact list (one line view) without the country code or all numbers are stripped at the beggining of the number and not at the end.

Eg. contact information
Last Name, First Name +421 xxx yyy zzzM

usually displayed as (really unusable):
Last Name, First Name +421 xxx yyy zM

will be displayed as (prefered):
Last Name, First Name xxx yyy zzzM
or
Last Name, First Name 21 xxx yyy zzzM

Feature request #3
-------------------------
New contact screen - data entry to have similar auto fill for selected fields as city, country, even all fields as you have in other screens for contact information.

Btw. this works already in the system contact list for OS 3.5

Feature request #4
-------------------------
More contacts entries for one meeting, todo, call.
